Fujifilm Seeks To Revive Camera Patent Suit Against Kodak

Law360, New York (February 29, 2012, 3:50 PM ET) -- Fujifilm Corp. on Tuesday asked the New York bankruptcy court overseeing Eastman Kodak Co.'s Chapter 11 proceeding to let it move ahead with a previously filed lawsuit accusing the photography equipment giant of infringing four digital camera technology patents.

Fujifilm's request follows similar motions by Apple Inc. and Research in Motion Ltd. seeking the court's permission to pursue or revive patent litigation against Kodak, which has also leveled infringement claims against Fujifilm.
