Broadcom Wins Tentative Chip Ban In Emulex Patent War

Law360, Los Angeles (March 02, 2012, 9:22 PM ET) -- Emulex Corp. must stop selling high-speed broadband controller chips that infringe two Broadcom Corp. patents, but will have an 18-month reprieve for corporate customers already using the products in servers, a California federal judge tentatively ruled Friday.
