Activision Stole 'World Of Warcraft' Voice, Worker Says

Law360, New York (March 07, 2012, 6:53 PM ET) -- A former Activision Blizzard Inc. customer service representative sued the video game maker for copyright infringement in California federal court on Tuesday, alleging that the company used her voice in the popular online game "World of Warcraft" without permission and without paying her.

Amanda Lewis claims that while she was employed by Blizzard Entertainment Inc., which later merged with Activision Inc., she developed a voice and a song that she thought would be good for use in "World of Warcraft," a so-called massive multiplayer online game...
