Law360, New York (March 16, 2012, 2:53 PM ET) -- The Temptations on Thursday joined a growing roster of artists suing UMG Recordings Inc. over digital royalties, the same day a California federal judge combined similar class actions brought by Rob Zombie, rapper Chuck D, and the estate of Rick James.
Otis Williams and Ron Tyson — current members of the band most known for its 1964 hit, “My Girl” — and former Temptations member Damon Harris filed two separate proposed class actions for breach of contract Thursday in California federal court.
