Quinn, Rothken Seek Seized Funds For Megaupload Legal Fees

Law360, New York (April 06, 2012, 1:52 PM ET) -- Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP and the Rothken Law Firm asked a Virginia federal court Thursday for permission to help alleged piracy website Megaupload.com and its principals attain funds seized by the government and use the money for the company's legal defense.

The law firms asked the court for permission to make a limited appearance on behalf of Megaupload, in order to secure funds seized from the indicted file storage company so that it can pay its legal fees in the criminal proceeding.
