Acacia Unit Inks Batch Of License Agreements

Law360, New York (August 21, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- Disc Link Corp., a subsidiary of patent-holding company Acacia Research Corp., has entered into license agreements with about 13 companies it accused of infringing its patent for Internet hyperlinks located on CDs and DVDs.

Acacia announced last Wednesday that it had settled with Bentley Systems Inc., and earlier this month it disclosed settlements with CA Inc. and Avid Technology Inc.
