Law360, New York (May 03, 2005, 12:00 AM ET) -- Disk-drive makers Seagate and Cornice have reached a partial settlement of their patent dispute over tiny disk drives.
Under the terms of the settlement, Cornice has agreed that it would cease manufacture by May 31 of the products that were the subject of a complaint filed by Seagate before the U.S. International Trade Commission. The settlement covers Cornice 1.0, 1.5 and 2.0 GB hard-drives, the companies said.
A hearing before an Administrative Law Judge at the ITC had been scheduled to begin on May 2, 2005....
