Law360, New York (May 11, 2012, 7:30 PM ET) -- A Virginia federal judge on Friday denied Kolon Industries Inc.'s bid to stay an order blocking the body armor maker from making large asset transfers without giving DuPont Co. a chance to challenge a transaction, in a trade secrets case where DuPont won a $920 million verdict in September.
In addition to denying Kolon's motion for required advance notification of asset transfers pending appeal, U.S. District Judge Robert Payne also partially granted a motion from DuPont to compel asset-related discovery.
