Akin Gump Patent Ace Jumps To IP Firm Oblon Spivak

Law360, Los Angeles (May 16, 2012, 2:30 PM ET) -- Former Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP partner and software patent specialist Michael L. Kiklis has joined Oblon Spivak McClelland Maier & Neustadt LLP as a partner in its Alexandra, Va., office, the global intellectual property law firm announced Tuesday.

Kiklis, an attorney with 20 years' experience in intellectual property law and a deep background in computer science, is the latest attorney to join the firm’s growing post-grant patent practice, which recruited partner Greg Gardella in November.
