Law360, New York (July 10, 2012, 6:43 PM ET) -- Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice LLP has added a technology patent expert to its Silicon Valley office, the firm announced Monday.
Behrooz Shariati, formerly a partner at Jones Day’s Silicon Valley office, will be a partner in Womble Carlyle’s intellectual property group.
"The firm aims to have a full-service office in Silicon Valley," the office’s managing partner, Michael Gencarella, told Law360 on Tuesday, saying the addition of Shariati will help the firm expand its intellectual property litigation capabilities.
