Law360, New York (July 11, 2005, 12:00 AM ET) -- Wireless technology provider Qualcomm Inc. has fired back against Broadcom Corp.’s patent and antitrust litigation with a patent suit of its own.
Qualcomm’s complaint, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California, accuses Broadcom of infringing seven of its patents, the company said.
Six of Qualcomm's patents relate to integrated circuits for use in Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) phones, while the seventh patent relate to semiconductor chips for Wi-Fi devices.
