Judge Won't Sanction Fisher-Price, Mattel After IP 'Doc Dump'

Law360, New York (August 10, 2012, 7:14 PM ET) -- A federal judge in Buffalo, N.Y., granted toymaker Kids II Inc.'s bid Friday to extend discovery after a 500,000 page “document dump” by plaintiffs Fisher-Price Inc. and Mattel Inc. in their patent suit over a baby swing, but refused to sanction the plaintiffs.
