Novak Druce, Connolly Bove Merging To Form IP Boutique

Law360, New York (September 19, 2012, 8:14 PM ET) -- Intellectual property powerhouses Houston-based Novak Druce & Quigg LLP and Wilmington, Del.-based Connolly Bove Lodge & Hutz LLP said Wednesday they were in advanced talks to merge into what would be the seventh-largest IP boutique in the country.

The merger, which is expected to occur in January, would create a firm with 140 attorneys, agents and technical advisers headquartered in Houston. The new firm would be known as Novak Druce Connolly Bove & Quigg LLP, according to the firms. The deal is still subject to votes...
