Judge Won't Nix Apotex Suit Over Drugmaking IP

Law360, New York (January 18, 2013, 5:13 PM ET) -- A Florida federal judge Thursday refused to dismiss an Apotex Inc. complaint alleging drugmaker UCB Inc. copied a patented manufacturing process for a blood pressure medication, saying a lack of details about UCB’s process prevents him from determining no violation occurred.
