Sheriff Blocked From Liability In Tom Jones Negligence Row

Law360, New York (January 18, 2013, 6:35 PM ET) -- A California appeals court found Thursday that the Los Angeles County sheriff accused by blues legend Tom Jones of negligently releasing certain funds meant to fulfill a judgment in an underlying licensing row is shielded by the litigation privilege that protects public employees.
