Law360, Los Angeles (January 30, 2013, 6:09 PM ET) -- "Hooper" director and stuntman Hal Needham's company launched a putative class action against Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. on Tuesday in California court, alleging the movie titan withheld royalties owed to filmmakers from home video sales.
Los Angeles-based Stuntman Inc., a loan-out company for Needham's services, alleges WB broke its contractual obligations to Stuntman and hundreds of proposed class members by underpaying them for the revenues it earned distributing their movies on the home video market, causing them substantial damages.
