Law360, New York (January 30, 2013, 4:13 PM ET) -- The European Commission is still waiting for Google Inc. to offer a draft settlement after asking the Internet search giant to submit a proposal by the end of January, the agency's antitrust chief said Wednesday.
Though the case has no formal deadlines, Competition Commissioner Joaquin Almunia said in December that he expected Google to put forward a detailed commitment text in the first month of the new year.
