AMA, AARP Back FTC In Pay-For-Delay Antitrust Fight

Law360, New York (January 30, 2013, 7:00 PM ET) -- The American Medical Association, AARP and others on Tuesday backed the Federal Trade Commission's bid to overturn a ruling holding so-called pay-for-delay pharmaceutical patent settlements to be legal, warning the U.S. Supreme Court that leaving the antitrust standard in place could devastate consumers.
