Amazon, Apple Clash Over Dead Expert's 'App Store' Survey

Law360, New York (February 05, 2013, 7:33 PM ET) -- Amazon.com Inc. sought Monday to replace a recently deceased expert whose survey found that the “app store” mark — the subject of Apple Inc.'s infringement suit against it — is generic, while Apple has insisted that any replacement witness should design a new survey altogether.
