Shenkman Sues Rival To Defend Aesop's Tortoise Ads

Law360, Los Angeles (February 05, 2013, 7:40 PM ET) -- Investment management company Shenkman Capital Management Inc. asked a New York federal court on Monday to declare that its depiction of tortoises and use of a well-known Aesop fable in advertising materials doesn’t infringe any intellectual property rights of rival investment firm Ariel Investments LLC.
