MicroUnity, Sony Playstation Patent Case Closed

Law360, New York (December 03, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- A federal judge on Friday signed off on a settlement between Sony Computer Entertainment America Inc. and MicroUnity Systems Engineering Inc., closing the final chapter of the patent infringement suit involving Sony's Playstation game consoles.

District Judge John T. Ward of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas signed off on the order, which grants the two parties' joint request for dismissal.

Each party will pay its own attorneys' fees, costs of court and expenses.
