Law360, New York (February 15, 2013, 1:54 PM ET) -- A New York federal judge ruled Friday that a patent allegedly infringed by Microsoft Corp.'s Xbox game console is not valid, throwing out a patent holding company's lawsuit against the technology giant.
U.S. District Judge Shira Scheindlin found that a patent that supposedly covered technology used in the Xbox Kinect controller, a device that reads players' movements, was too vaguely written to be valid.
