'Ghost Rider' Rights Suit Not Too Late, 2nd Circ. Hears

Law360, New York (February 20, 2013, 7:45 PM ET) -- A comic book writer asked the Second Circuit on Wednesday to overturn a lawsuit loss and find he owns the rights to Marvel Enterprises Inc.'s popular "Ghost Rider" character, arguing that his copyright suit was not filed too late and that a 1978 agreement did not grant the rights to Marvel.
