Law360, New York (February 26, 2013, 12:18 PM ET) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission voted Monday to launch an investigation into allegations that Ericsson Inc. is importing wireless communication base stations that infringe a patent held by technology licensing company Adaptix Inc.
The trade commission will probe whether Sweden-based Ericsson violated Section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930 by importing wireless base stations — products that help connect end users to a 4G LTE wireless network — that infringe Adaptix's U.S. Patent Number 6,870,808.
