Law360, New York (March 07, 2013, 2:20 PM ET) -- A Texas federal judge on Tuesday stayed a patent suit against Sony Corp., Dell Inc. and others pending the outcome of an inter partes review of an Ethernet patent held by plaintiff Network-1 Security Solutions Inc.
U.S. District Judge John Love closed the case until completion of the review. Defendant Avaya Inc. filed a a petition for inter partes review of Network-1's patent in December, followed two weeks later by a separate petition filed by Sony and co-defendant Axis Communications Inc.
