Law360, New York (December 17, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- Ring Plus Inc. on Sunday asked a judge to disqualify Baker Botts LLP from representing Cingular Wireless LLC in a patent suit over ring-back technology, saying that Baker Botts had improper ex parte contacts with a Ring Plus director.
Ring Plus said in a motion that the director, Sam Garretson, had contacted the firm by e-mail in April and offered to discuss privileged information relating to the case.
