Law360, New York (December 18, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- Vector Corrosion Technologies Inc. owns the corrosion protection patent that it was accused of violating but has not taken the steps to show that rival The Euclid Chemical Co. has infringed the intellectual property, a district court judge has ruled.
Finding that Vector has abandoned its infringement counterclaims over the disputed patent, and that Euclid has dropped its own allegations made in the complaint, Judge Christopher Boyko dismissed the suit in Vector's favor on Friday.
