SanDisk Settles Flash Memory Disputes With PNY

Law360, New York (January 03, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- SanDisk Corp. has garnered its first flash memory patent-licensing agreement stemming from infringement actions it filed in federal court and with the U.S. International Trade Commission.

SanDisk announced on Thursday that it had reached a cross-licensing deal with Parsippany, N.J.-based PNY Technologies to settle claims SanDisk made before the ITC and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but SanDisk said PNY will pay royalties for previously unlicensed flash memory products.
