MediaTek, Matsushita Face Off In Second Suit

Law360, New York (October 21, 2005, 12:00 AM ET) -- Undeterred by two unfavorable rulings by the U.S. International Trade Commission last month, Taiwanese chip maker MediaTek has filed a separate lawsuit against Japanese rival Matsushita over patents for data encoder chips used in DVD players.
