6th Circ. Sanctions Songwriter's Widow In Copyright Feud

Law360, Los Angeles (May 01, 2013, 10:42 PM ET) -- The Sixth Circuit on Wednesday ordered sanctions against a songwriter's widow and her attorney for filing frivolous lawsuits seeking royalties from a record company that received default judgments against a rapper it said unlawfully sampled the songwriter's work.
