DTL Inks License With Nokia For Disputed Patent

Law360, New York (January 16, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- Patent-holding company Digital Technology Licensing LLC has inked a licensing agreement with Nokia for a patent covering signal encoding technology used in cell phones.

Meanwhile, DTL continues to wrangle with other cellular technology companies over alleged invalidity and infringement of the same patent.

The deal with Nokia is the first major licensing agreement for DTL, according to the company's licensing and enforcement firm, General Patent Corporation International.
