Law360, New York (January 18, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- A Florida-based patent-holding company has added Shell Oil Co., Pier 1 Imports Inc. and Metromedia Steakhouses Co. LP to its hit list of alleged infringers of multifunctional card technology.
Alexsam Inc. filed the suit Thursday against the three companies in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas for allegedly violating two patents.
The suit follows three other suits filed by the patent-holding company against several other companies in the same court.
