Law360, New York (March 19, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- Heelys Inc., the maker of children's shoes with wheels embedded in the heels, has settled a patent infringement dispute with a rival shoe company.
Elan-Polo Inc. will pay Heelys $1.4 million under the terms of the agreement, Heelys said in a statement. The payments include $750,000 immediately and the rest in installments until 2010.
