Law360, New York (February 08, 2006, 12:00 AM ET) -- A federal court in California has enjoined Broadcom Corp. from pursuing a pair of patent infringement claims related to Bluetooth technology that the company has tried to assert against rival wireless communications developer Qualcomm Inc.
The injunction is the result of Broadcom’s alleged breach of an agreement the two companies reached in 2001, which stipulates that any disputes related to the Bluetooth patents must be litigated in San Diego.
