Law360, New York (May 01, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- Telecommunications company T-Mobile Inc. has become the latest to settle with billionaire inventor Ronald A. Katz over patents for interactive voice applications.
Katz said on Thursday that T-Mobile had entered into a settlement agreement with his company, Ronald A. Katz Technology Licensing LP, and would pay an undisclosed sum for a nonexclusive license to Katz's patents.
The nonexclusive license will cover T-Mobile's services in the wireless field, including customer service provided through automated systems and live agents. Other terms of the license remained undisclosed.
