Samsung, Renesas Settle DRAM Infringement Disputes

Law360, New York (May 20, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission has decided to end an investigation of infringement claims filed by Renesas Technology Corp. against Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. after the parties reached a settlement over patents for computer memory chips.

The ITC recently issued a notice that it would not review a decision by an administrative law judge to terminate the commission's investigation into Renesas' claims of patent infringement based on the settlement. The decision terminated the investigation.
