New Hybrid Car Patent Fuels Suit Against Toyota

Law360, New York (July 02, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- Toyota Motor Corp. is facing yet another suit from patent-holding company Paice LLC over hybrid cars, just weeks after losing a bid to take an earlier patent fight with the company to the nation's highest court.

Paice filed the suit in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas on Tuesday, the same day the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office issued the patent-in-suit.
