Adidas Sues LA Shoe Cos. Over Three-Stripe Mark

Law360, New York (August 01, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- Adidas AG and its U.S. operations are suing a handful of Los Angeles-area shoe companies for allegedly infringing the company's well-known three-stripe mark.

In a suit filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, the athletic-wear giant accuses Wah Lei Footwear (USA) Corp., Fu Ju (USA) Group Inc., LA Discount Shoes, Sunny Shoes Corp. and Top Shoes Inc. of making or selling shoes that infringe the Adidas trademark.
