Epson, Kodak, HP, Others Hit With Printer Patent Suit

Law360, New York (August 07, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- Whetstone Electronics LLC has sued a slew of computer printer makers including Epson America Inc., Eastman Kodak Co. and Hewlett-Packard Co. over two patents related to an interface card that allows computers to transmit information about digital images to printers.

Thirty defendants in total were named in the suit, filed Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern Division of Texas.
