Law360, New York (September 03, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- Teva Pharmaceuticals Industries Ltd. has filed suit accusing Sandoz Inc. and parent company Novartis AG of using confidential information to prepare a generic version of Teva's multiple sclerosis drug Copaxone.
In a complaint filed Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, the Israel-based drugmaker claims the companies used secret information from Lek Pharmaceutical and Chemical Co. to develop Sandoz's regulatory application for a copycat drug.
Lek distributed Copaxone for Teva from its base in Eastern Europe from 1997 to 2005....
