Law360, New York (September 04, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- Sony Corp. and Litepanels LLC have settled a month-old patent dispute over camera-mounted lights.
Litepanels sued the electronics giant in July in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, accusing it and its U.S. subsidiaries of importing, manufacturing and selling consumer and professional video equipment and products that infringe two patents that cover light-emitting diode technology.
On Tuesday, Litepanels filed a motion to dismiss the suit on the grounds that the parties had reached a settlement.
