Patent In $41M Contact Lens Suit Invalid: Re-Exam

Law360, New York (October 09, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- The contact lens patent at the center of a lawsuit between Novartis AG unit CIBA Vision Corp. and Rembrandt Vision Technologies LP, which resulted in a $41 million verdict against CIBA earlier this year, has been found to be invalid for obviousness after a re-examination.
