Law360, New York (November 24, 2015, 11:02 AM EST) -- The America Invents Act required that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office establish a pro bono process for inventors who might otherwise not have access to the patent system. I recently had the opportunity to do pro bono patent prosecution for an independent inventor through my firm. I found the process to be enjoyable and fulfilling, and appreciated the opportunity to work directly with an independent inventor and put my skills to work with someone who is new to the patent prosecution process.
