Copyright Alliance Seeks SCOTUS Ruling On RS-DVR

Law360, New York (November 05, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- The Copyright Alliance has filed an amicus curiae brief with the U.S. Supreme Court, urging the high court to weigh in on whether a new Cablevision System Corp. television-recording technology infringes the copyrights of a group of broadcasting companies and film studios awaiting approval of a writ of certiorari.
