Volterra Sues Infineon Over Semiconductor Patents

Law360, New York (November 14, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- Volterra Semiconductor Corp. has filed suit against Primarion Inc. and German-based Infineon Technologies AG, accusing the rival companies of infringing several voltage regulator patents.

The suit, filed Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, accuses the companies of infringing five Volterra patents.

The two companies are accused of infringing by making and selling “integrated power stages for voltage regulator application and related products,” according to the suit.
