Pozen Sues Alphapharm, Mylan Over Generic Treximet

Law360, New York (January 05, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- Pozen Inc., maker of the migraine medication Treximet, has filed suit against generics makers Alphapharm Pty Ltd. and Mylan Inc., alleging that a proposed generic version of the drug infringes two of its patents.

The suit, filed Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, is the second Pozen has filed regarding planned generic Treximet. The company sued Par Pharmaceutical Inc. in the same court in November.
