Law360, New York (February 13, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- Freedom Wireless LLC has reached settlements with a host of defendants, including Ericsson Inc., Cingular Wireless LLC and T-Mobile USA Inc., in a protracted spat over patents related to prepaid cell phone technology.
Stipulations of dismissal with several of the parties were lodged Tuesday and Thursday in three separate suits in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, and the remaining parties are in the process of being dismissed, according to a person familiar with the case.
