Intel, Nvidia Spar Over Chipset Patent Licenses

Law360, New York (February 18, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- In an effort to bar Nvidia Corp. from producing chipsets that are compatible with its latest generation of microprocessors, Intel Corp. has filed a lawsuit against Nvidia seeking a declaratory judgment that licensing agreements between the companies do not extend to certain Nvidia products.

Intel lodged the suit Monday in the Court of Chancery for the State of Delaware.
