Juniper Sues Over GraphOn Software In Patent War

Law360, New York (March 18, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- As it continues to fight infringement claims by GraphOn Corp. in Texas, Juniper Networks Inc. has launched its own suit in Virginia alleging the rival company violated Juniper's transmitting data patent.

The Sunnyvale, Calif.-based telecommunication equipment provider lodged the suit in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia on Monday, claiming GraphOn and reseller Vertical Marketing Inc. infringed its patent related to transmitting data between a host computer and a terminal computer.
