Law360, New York (March 23, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- Traffic Information LLC has launched infringement claims against Volvo Cars of North America LLC, as well as a slew of cell phone companies that includes AT&T Mobility LLC, Research In Motion Ltd. and Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications (USA) Inc., over a patent covering a traffic information system.
Texas-based Traffic filed its suit Friday against the cell phone companies and automaker in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, seeking injunctive relief and damages.
